We build the page, link to it from our home page and fill in pictures, meeting schedules and content. During the year, your group may refresh pictures and content each month for just $50 per hour.

Computer classes for small groups

To many, computers and the internet are difficult, mysterious and frightening. Many people don’t know how to send e-mail attachments, what to do when the computer freezes up or how to find answers to their questions.

 We believe we have at least part of the answer.

We do away with daunting manuals and computer classes by teaching small groups the basics. What is an ISP. How does e-mail work? How can I find anything on the Internet when it is so vast. What if I do something wrong? Who can I talk to about all this.

You sponsorship includes:

Four one-hour sessions of small group hands-on computer instruction covering

·        Getting comfortable with your computer

·        E-mail

·        Using the internet

·        Using  friends and others as your knowledge base.

In each of our Sponsored pages sessions, students will have a chance to actually see how they can use today’s Internet and e-mail to get in touch, stay in touch, find information and get a support network in place and become more comfortable. In each group, we identify those individuals most able to help support others with answers to common questions.

If your interest is Little Leaguers or Girl Scouts, your church or the sixth graders at the enter School, town employees – whoever --IDaxys will also get your group involved in building its very own web page(s) on Petersham Common. Class size is limited to 6 to ensure the highest levels of involvement. Up to six hours to telephone support and advice via e-mail  will be provided for each student.
